First New Generation Celebration

Rotary District 3810 held its First New Generation Celebration this
Sunday. The celebration consisted of three events:
a ROTARun,
ROTARACT Badminton and INTERACT Badminton Tournaments.
The ROTARun staged at
McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio Grounds,
Global City
attracted more than 3,000 runners while the ROTARACT and INTERACT Badminton tournaments
held for the first time simultaneously at Court Zone, Paco, Manila
with record breaking participation from different Rotaract and
Interact Clubs of District 3810.
The ROTARun, hosted by the Rotary Club of Pasay Silangan, was open to all Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, and to the public in general. The run is for 3K, 5K, 10K, 15K and 21K.
Cash prizes and trophies was awarded to ROTARun winners and certificates to all finishers.
The INTERACT and ROTARACT Badminton tournaments, on the other hand, hosted by the Rotary Club of Manila Centennial and the Rotary Club of Bagumbayan respectively, was open to all INTERACT and ROTRACT clubs of the District.
Cash prizes and trophies / medals were awarded to the winner and first runner - up in the badminton tournament while trophies / medals were awarded to the second runner up.
Rotary Club of Manila Centennial is the lead club to all these three events chaired by Charter President Ruben Siao.
