July 6, 2008, Roxas Blvd. - Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim visited the District Manila Bay Clean Up Drive led by District 3810 Governor Josie Ang. Hosted by Rotary Club of Pasay West headed by Legacy President Raymund Bucu led the clean-up drive with co-hosts consisted by the Rotary Club of Baywalk Manila led by Legacy  President Danny Ricohermoso, the Rotary Club of Bacoor led by Legacy President Vic Villanueva, and RC Manila Maynilad Seafront led by Legacy President Ed Cabural in cooperation with Alpha Phi Omega-NCR,  the APO-KA group and the DENR who led the information campaign by distributing flyers and environmental protection brochures to the general public.

RC Raha Sulayman led by Legacy President Bert Kwok and Sharing President Jonathan Teng deployed their volunteer fire trucks to loosen up the trash in the nook and crannies of the beach. RC Ramon Magsaysay led by Legacy President Rosie Oliveros brought along 50 student volunteers armed with cleaning implements as their contribution to this effort. More ...
