The recently concluded induction of the Rotary Club of Manila Premier held at the Gabriel Flash Elorde Grand Ballroom last August 20, 2022, featured the accomplishments of Life Changing President, Engr. Ruel Taay; and, ushered in Phenomenal Leader President Arlene Roxas’ leadership of one of the most prestigious Rotary Club in District 3810.
Everyone who attended the event was surprised on the physical arrangement which converted the once seemingly ordinary decent ballroom into an elegant and world class one! This was made possible by the most supportive and kind hearted Governor PDG Liza V. Elorde.
The event would not have been complete without the presence and support of Governor Joyce L. Ambray and FG PLP Hermie Esguerra. The presence of PLP Arlene’s Phenomenal classmates, the EXECOM members, the District Officers, and friends in Rotary added color to the occasion.
One of the highlights of the event was when PLP Arlene was introduced through a video presentation which featured her personal life as a family oriented person, a friend to her peers and a beautiful person inside and out. The video presentation was well loved and appreciated for being significantly exciting to watch and which other rotarians can learn lessons especially in being of service to others.
During her acceptance inaugural speech PLP Arlene stressed her commitment to be service to others and promised to work more for the betterment of the club by bringing the RCMP Club members to comply to the 16 Governor’s challenges.
At the lighter side of the celebration PLP Arlene saw and heard the resounding support of her Phenomenal classmates through their clapping of hands and shouting of praises every time she would emphasize a point … signifying their love and excitement to the lady of the hour, Pres. Arlene C. Roxas.
The speech of Governor Joyce L. Ambray illuminated with more hope and with more good things happening to District 3810 during her reign as Governor. On the other hand, PDG Liza V. Elorde left with a message to all attendees with her reminder and challenge on how Rotarians can be the best that they can be in delivering service to others.
The induction Ceremony ended with a dance number from the elite group of dancers who certainly were members of the RCMP!
The presence of the delegation from RCM PREMIER sister club, The Rotary Club of Pusan Puil District 3661 Korea, headed by Pres Tae Yong Park added glamour to the celebration!
It signified the renewal of friendship, and continued commitment to the ideals of the Rotary. During the send off activity Pres Arlene Roxas was asked by the Korean partners on how they can help in her Project and Pres Arlene presented the TINAPAY DUGTONG BUHAY : THE MALUNGGAY PANDESAL PROJECT which the foreign partners wholeheartedly promised to support!
